What can be sold?
Handmade Items
A shop is limited to selling only handmade items on our platform. We understand that artistry takes on many forms, so as a general rule of thumb, an item is considered handmade if it is designed and made by the shop owner or another member of the shop. We prohibit the sale of machine-made, resold, or any other kind of non-handcrafted items.

Our platform runs thorough checks on what is being sold. We also allow users to report listings. Our team will investigate these reports and remove listings that do not adhere to our community guidelines.

Listing Customization
Shops have control over how they showcase their listings to the world, from selecting high quality photos to adding tags and descriptions. Here are a few main features:
Variations
Shop owners have the choice to add variations to their listing, such as size, color and material options, as well as alter the price for each option.

Tags
Tags are predefined words and phrases that categorize a product, such as "For Kids" and "Home Decor". Adding these to a listing helps our platform connect products to target customers.

Shipping
Each listing may have free or flat rate shipping.
- Free Shipping: as easy as it sounds 🙂
- Flat Rate Shipping: Choose a base price + fee per additional quantity.
Example: Let's say a shop chooses flat rate shipping for their t-shirt listing. The selected base price is $8 with a $1 fee per additional quantity. A customer buys three t-shirts, so the total shipping price is $8 + $1 + $1, or $10.

Ready to Ship Window
Each listing has a “ready to ship” window; this is a time estimation for how many days it will take the shop owner to create, package, and ship an item once an order comes in. This estimate is visible to customers and used by our team as a reference point so we know when to intervene if an order is not shipped (TODO: link “Orders” section).
